Ed Lewin
Ed brings close to 40 years of solicitor experience to the firm, primarily focused on owner/managers. Ed’s practice areas include corporate, commercial and estate planning, and he has a practical no nonsense approach to business law.
Ed is very active in the non-profit world, currently serving on the boards of two societies and as honorary legal counsel to a third.
Outside of work and volunteering, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife of 41 years, his children, and grandson. A former varsity basketball player (UBC Thunderbirds), Ed remains an avid basketball fan and enjoys sports generally.

Eli Zbar
Eli is the co-founder and managing partner of Arora Zbar LLP. Eli heads the firm’s solicitor practice. He arranges and facilitates a wide array of real estate, business, and financial transactions. Eli advises entrepreneurs and businesses regarding contracts, corporate governance, and risk management. In addition, Eli represents clients in strata and residential tenancy disputes.
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Eli majored in philosophy at the University of British Columbia. Eli attended Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law, graduating as the Class of 2017 Valedictorian. After articling at a civil litigation firm in downtown Vancouver, Eli started his own sole practice the day after being called to the bar.
Eli and his wife live in Kitsilano. He enjoys baking, cycling, yoga, and travelling. Eli is a licensed drone pilot, and an aspiring wine expert.

Raminder S. Arora
Raminder is a civil litigator with a focus on corporate commercial litigation, contractual disputes, alternative dispute resolution, tort liability matters including professional negligence, franchisor-franchisee disputes, and construction disputes.
Prior to joining Arora Zbar LLP, Raminder worked at national and international firms where he assisted senior lawyers provide practical and effective legal advice to a wide range of clients including large institutions, branches of provincial government, small business, and individuals. As associate counsel with Arora Zbar LLP, Raminder puts the skills acquired at top-tier law firms to help provide effective legal solutions and strategies to business and individuals alike. Raminder has experience representing clients at all levels of courts in British Columbia.
Outside of the office, Raminder enjoys outdoor activities including walking, hiking, biking as much as he enjoys reading books. In addition to English, Raminder can fluently speak and write two other languages – Punjabi and Hindi.

Ravneet S. Arora
Ravneet is a co-founder and partner of Arora Zbar LLP, he heads the firm’s dispute resolution practice. Ravneet has represented clients before all levels of court in British Columbia, being the Provincial, Supreme, and Court of Appeal. In addition, Ravneet has represented clients before administrative tribunals, such as the British Columbia Securities Commission and Financial Institutions Commission.
Ravneet attended Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law and Kwantlen Polytechnic University Faculty of Arts. Prior to forming Arora Zbar LLP, Ravneet practiced commercial litigation at boutique firms and as a sole practitioner.
Ravneet is trilingual as he is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi.

Deborah Caldeira
Originally from Brazil, Deborah earned her Law degree in 2018. After that, she obtained a certificate in Business Management and went on to study criminology at KPU. With years of experience in the legal and administrative field, Deborah has taken on more and more in the year she has worked with Arora Zbar LLP. She is passionate about Law and learning; her commitment to always putting her best foot forward has taken her on a journey to learn tasks in Litigation, Conveyancing, and Corporate Law. Deborah speaks Portuguese and Spanish.
On her free time, Deborah enjoys reading, baking, watching Netflix and anything that is not Law related.

Talaina Lucente
Talaina joined Arora Zbar LLP this past April. She supports the administrative and operational activities, including retention, accounting, and reconciliation. Talaina graduated high school in Alberta at the age of sixteen before moving to Vancouver where she began, and is currently working towards, her English masters at UBC. After, she plans on attending law school for herself. Outside of work, Talaina enjoys fine arts mostly, spending eight years training and continuing to train internationally in various styles of performance arts, as well as volunteering with local organizations.

Veena Zbar
Veena joined the firm in 2021 as an administrative assistant and social coordinator. She works with both the solicitor and litigation lawyers, utilizing her exceptional attention to detail to provide support and assistance. Veena enjoys coordinating the firm’s social activities that foster positive work culture and team building.
Veena was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and attended both SFU and UBC. Outside of the office, she is a registered nurse and a graduate student. Veena lives in Kitsilano with her husband, Eli. She is a foodie who enjoys traveling, yoga, and swimming.
